In the UK, the MICE industry is worth about £70 billion and can provide hundreds of thousands of jobs in various industries. Whether you want to manage major festivals, music and sporting events, or organize high-profile conferences and exhibitions, our Global Conferences and Events Management postgraduate course will equip you for senior positions in this dynamic industry knowledge and skills.
Use in-depth module study to enhance students' understanding of global exhibition theory and learn to use complex strategic and operational tools commonly used in the industry. Our courses will equip you to become a proficient decision-maker who can navigate dynamic project management and maintain important partnerships while achieving profitable or sales targets. Students will undertake current live case studies and have the opportunity to plan, market and manage real live MICE events with our philanthropic partners.
Our MA in Events Management provides students with numerous additional opportunities, including field trips abroad and internships around the world. We support students to use the event management software Cvent software, and they can get a Cvent certificate to help them find employment upon graduation. At the same time, students can also use our digital creative studio to produce videos and podcasts.
